People tend to think of the large publishing companies as giant, worldwide machines, but the truth is that the North American arm of a publisher is usually run completely separately from the European arm, or even the Canadian. Naturally, each of these disparate companies has its own publicity department, and each of these publicity departments has its own ideas of what will sell each particular title. Often times, this leads to wildly different cover art.

In our Around the World feature we’ll look at some of these different covers, and let you vote on which you like the best!

First up is Susin Nielsen’s recent young adult triumph, We Are All Made of Molecules. The North American and UK designs are different takes on a similar themes, but the rest of the world went in very different directions…
