Occasionally, in addition to our regular reviews, we enlist the help of some more age appropriate critics to give their opinions and recommendations.
This week we welcome 5-year old Jane, who weighs in on her favorite book, Ladybug Girl and Bingo. It was written by Jacky Davis and illustrated by David Soman, and released by Dial Books in 2012.
I really like Ladybug Girl. She is named Lulu and I like her wings. She looks so ladybuggy. She uses her imagination and has adventures and she likes to go camping with her family and her dog Bingo. My favourite part in the book is when she finds Bingo when he’s lost. It’s really, really great and the pictures are pretty. I give it 101 stars!
Do you know a kid who’d like to release their inner critic? Have your little scribe write about one of their favorite books, and they could get published by Kinderlit.ca!
